Message from President of 4PM

”SEVEN decades and still going strong.

It is a testament to the hard work of the management, volunteers and staff as well as the generosity of our supporters over the years that the Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM) continues to play an important role today. Since its inception in 1948, 4PM has always been about the community. Thus, we are encouraged to witness the progress of the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore and humbled that this organisation has had a hand in this journey. This is therefore truly a celebration for the community. A celebration of the gotong-royong spirit and the ethos of ‘berat sama dipikul, ringan sama dijinjing’. Our young leaders have been groomed and exposed to many responsibilities. They have proven to be capable, driven, motivated but most importantly they have shown that their heart is in the right place. I am confident, moving forward 4PM is in good hands and will continue to play an important role in the years to come.“
